Savathun is coming for you, Guardian, and you’ll need to wield both Light and Darkness to stop her. Destiny 2: Season of Arrivals gives you just the means to do so thanks to a  brand new exotic trace rifle, the Ruinous Effigy which you can grab via the “Missive” quest. In order to obtain the Ruinous Effigy catalyst though, you’ll want to destroy all 50 Savathun’s Eyes. This will also net you one of the secret triumphs for the Forerunner seal/title. Here’s our guide to help you out.

Note: The “Missive” exotic quest to obtain the Ruinous Effigy isn’t available yet, and we only have datamined info about the quest chain at the moment. For everything else about the other activities and content for this season, check out our Destiny 2: Season of Arrivals guides and features hub.

Destiny 2: Season of Arrivals – All 50 Savathun’s Eye locations guide

Keep in mind that you could still earn progress for the catalyst via kills with the Ruinous Effigy. However, destroying Savathun’s Eyes might grant more progress (while netting you that triumph for the Forerunner title).

What we don’t know yet is how the 50 Savathun’s Eyes will be destroyed. Perhaps they can be destroyed when shot by the Ruinous Effigy (similar to the Wish-Ender exotic bow and Corrupted Eggs). Alternatively, it might be related to the Ruinous Effigy’s exotic perks (“Transmutation” and “Evolution”) where you’ll pick up transmuted orbs that can be used to attack and damage Savathun’s Eyes.

In any case, just check each page below for the destination that you’d be going to:

Io locations (10x Savathun’s Eyes)

The Whisper mission locations (5x Savathun’s Eyes)

Titan locations (10x Savathun’s Eyes)

Mars locations (10x Savathun’s Eyes)

Mercury locations (10x Savathun’s Eyes)

Prophecy dungeon locations (5x Savathun’s Eyes)
